What do you think of FM jingles in the 80s and 90s from the US?

WZYP in Alabama in the 1990s was using Turbo Z by JAM and later The New WPLJ by TM Century. WHHY-FM in Montgomery in the 90s was using Y98 FM by TM Century and later Z World by JAM. KJYO in Oklahoma City in the 80s and 90s was using a JAM composite (Hitradio, Warp Factor, and Z World). WKRQ in Ohio was using TMCI Airpower and eventually Firstcom KIIS 88.

Leave your comments below about varied CHR FM stations that had jingles in the 80s and 90s.

  1. By mid 1992, WHOT-FM Youngstown, OH had TM Century (for example the TOTH cut from Southern California's Kiss). In the 90s they also had a JAM composite of Q Cuts and Right On Q.

  2. WZYP could have had Firstcom's Jingle Warfare package by 1986 but actually aired Turbo Z by JAM and later The New WPLJ by TM Century (including the Christmas jingle).

  4. WHYN-FM has had JAM and TM Century in the past in Springfield, MA. By 1989, WMAS-FM picked up Madison Avenue by Century 21 before TM Century was on WHYN-FM.
